You can get really creative with the April Special. Do any Buckeye Burl instrument a solid with black Tahitian mother of pearl oval inlays, nickel hardware, and side LEDs in blue. Or upgrade a Darling guitar to include a Quilted Maple top, a Quilted Maple back and continuous wood backplates. Even a Series II can get a little crazy with Mahogany for the primary neck wood, and Superb Walnut top and back. You could even make a custom Stanley Clarke Deluxe bass and upgrade the electronics to Series I, add an Ebony central neck laminate, and some side LEDs in classic red.
